It's an anniversary challenge

It is the 1st anniversary for the Atlantic hearts challenge and the sketch challenge for this week is to use this sketch:

I am also using the colour challenge from the color my heart color dare, I enjoy the challenge of combining these two challenges.  The colours we are challenged to use this week are the colours from one of my favourite paper packs from CTMH this idea book, the Ariana paper pack.
Or Outdoor denim, Crystal blue, Ariana Coral, Ariana green and Ariana grey.  This is what I created:

I sometimes like to create congratulations cards for brand new grandparents, to help celebrate this amazing change in their lives, so this is for a couple in our church family that became grandparents for the very first time, to a little boy.
I enjoy making the paper flowers, this one is a number of circles cut from the paper pack that were left over from another project.  I wet the circles, crumpled them in to little  then very carefully open them up again.  This helps to give the texture, I then popped a brad through the center of the layered flowers, then reshaped and let dry.  I added a button for the center, here is a close-up of the flower:
I also shaped the congratulations from one of the stamps sets to fit the swirl.  So nice to be able to adjust the clear stamps to fit your project or idea.
Both stamp sets used are retired, but still very well loved and used.  I hope this inspires you to get crafty or inky.  Have fun playing.  If you are interested in any of the supplies used, please contact me with questions or place an order to get your own supplies on the right hand side of my page in the shop with me button.
